Description
Bit of a last minute piece, but with Starlight being one of my favorite MLP characters, I’d being doing a disservice by not celebrating Starlight Day. I originally wanted to do something similar to the piece I did for Rainbow Dash Day, but with the deadline so close, I know I wouldn’t be able to put in that level of polish into it, so this is what I had to settle with.
Nonetheless, I’m still pretty happy with how it turned out. I wanted to represent each phase that Starlight had done through as a character in the show. Starting with her villainous ways that we saw in the start, then reforming and learning from her mistakes. All the way to the end where she has earned her place as the the headmare of the School of Friendship. Starlight’s story arc is a very hopeful one, as it shows that no matter how rough our pasts may have been, there is always a chance for redemption.
