“Fa de ral de ral do”
Why did I even post this?
The irony, if I’m using that word in the correct manner, is that my favourite “monster girls” are mermaids.
And I wonder… why is that? What’s with this seemingly irrational fear of the (deep) water?
Some kind of latent survival instinct? The fear of darkness, having little control of your actions and drowning (or a combination)? Sure, there are horrible, giant creatures in the ocean, but what about giant land animals? Why do elephants not scare the crap out of us?
I still have nightmares about this kind of stuff and I don’t think I’ll ever know why.
Absolutely hated the underwater levels in Super Mario 64. Well, mostly levels 3 and 9. The only (completely) underwater levels I’ve ever liked, it seems, were the ones in the Donkey Kong Country series.
Oh… lots of reasons…
oh god that noise….
I dunno. Just wanted to join in the spoiler jokes and “underwater” is kinda our thing. :C
It’s a valid fear my man! many have been traumatized by sonic’s underwater level for example! That out of breath warning… it still makes me shudder.
maybe…
Hydrophobic people? [shrugs]
