I see supporting Ukraine not only as a duty to our European brothers and sisters but also as a new start for Europe itself. The EU was created in the era of neo-liberalism and rampant free market and that is coming more and more under strain and questioning, both inside the EU and outside it. Neo-liberalism is dying and as a construct of it the EU needs to either reform or die with it and I think the values of solidarity, reconciliation and humanity have that potential. Europe needs to pour more into Ukraine to already start rebuilding some of the damage of the war.
I know this is idealistic but realism without idealism is just cyninism and there are already far too many people who have fallen into that trap.

@HONEST
Europe and the EU is going through a big identity crisis right now and I hope it will settle on socialism and common care. That Europe must find strength in diversity and solidarity. Give aid to those in need and help each other prosper. The EU and the European countries have a lot to do to promote common care and more democracy but we can do it. If America is the land of freedom then Europe should become the land of solidarity.

If you knew how the Russian military clings to clothes. Thank God, before the evacuation, I changed my boots to more civilian ones. One guy was surrounded by 5-6 people with questions about shoes

My friend was on his way to Khabarovsk and on a seven-day trip he was given overdue drinkers. He threw photos of biscuits that were overdue for like half a year. And now it’s been almost a year and they still live in the hostel.

And after that we were told in Russia “It’s all for your good.” Also, people were shocked when they heard that the Azov people brought water to us and did nothing wrong
