Yes it’s easy to miss given they show up for 2 seconds before the scene switches to Applejack. I think they should have spent more time on this scene, it happens too fast:

Now this isn’t a diss but I do wonder what took them so long? Were they coming up with a plan of attack that we didn’t see in the background? Because they were freed at pretty much the same time as the princesses and mane six.

Celestia and Luna protect starlight. Celestia tells them to find Twilight. Rainbow acknowledges Discord’s heroes frontier step. Discord has enough time to tell the mane six to save Equestria and keep Fluttershy safe, In a powerless discord has enough time to gather his bravery to go into battle and throw rocks against chrysalis. Again not a diss but all this happens
before there even slightly in frame.
In I do wonder why?
