Oh my christ, it looks like someone took a background, rendered some awful solid-color shots of 3D ponies at ultra-low resolution, and then tried to paint over it in Photoshop.
 
The shading, the proportions, the faces… there is almost no single thing about this I can’t criticize to shit.
