Yeah, I try to look at characters on more than just a single type of relationship and whether or not how many layers it has. I imagine Sunny being the study bug that she is may not have as much time to talk and develop socially before her newer friends came into her life.

I believe a solid relationship whether platonic or romantic needs trust and understanding that things are much more than they seem :)

Oh My GOSH! That’s so sweet. Sunny is a good friend and like me, wondering where I fit or if I even want/can have such a relationship beyond close friendship. I understand Izzy too in that close friendship can feel like something more. But I above all else love how Sunny will be Izzy’s friend even as she works through the feelings. Friendship is always the best basis for relationships. Also Sunny and Hitch being like Brother and Sister is super wholesome. And Izzy is wholesome for respecting Sunny’s feelings so much and being okay with being friends for the moment. Much maturity and proves she’s a good filly!
