According to a Kidscreen article, 70 episodes are expected in season 1.[3] It was later announced on October 16, 2022, that a second season of 45 episodes will air in 2023.[4]
I imagine this is somebody’s interpretation of this same information. If this is just a Wikipedia quote, then it definitely could just be speculation that someone edited in there. The original source information isn’t clear if this is an additional 45 episodes beyond the original 70.
My take is this: if they meant 45 episodes in 2023, it means there’s either more than the original 70 episodes ordered, or there will be a hiatus soon because the math doesn’t work out otherwise. Notice how the “2023” is in the MYM box and not the TYT box though. I think the designers of the graphic could just be saying that there’s roughly 45 episodes left, which is true for the original 70.
So I think we ought to wait and see, take sources with a grain of salt, and try not to spread speculation as fact.

Ah, shoot. I got the chapters for ‘Make Your Mark’ messed up. It had 8 eps. each chapter. plus 3 chapters. which only added up to 23 eps. not 23 eps. for each chapter. facepalms.
‘Make Your Mark’ actually has 23 eps. not 69 eps.
Sorry, that was my mistake. My bad.
But the number of ‘Tell Your Tale’s’ episodes are correct and the number of eps. in it isn’t a mistake.

That info was for ‘Tell Your Tale’ so expect a lot of new episodes for that YouTube series later.
‘Tell Your Tale’ probably ended up having way more eps. than ‘Make Your Mark’ does since the series is an 2D animated cartoon series making it easier for Hasbro to make more eps. of it.
So the ‘Tell Your Tale’ haters may want to give the series another chance. I liked Zipp Storm’s ‘Tell Your Tale’ eps. so I think you guys should check them out.

Where do you get that information? We already had first special being labeled as “chapter 1” and now the next 8 episodes aired are known as “chapter 2” So why do you assume that w are getting 2x23 episodes as 2 chapters? For all we know next 8 episodes might be called “chapter 3” and another 8 episodes can be called “chapter 4” and all those chapters are nothing else but 1 single season if this was TV and not Netflix.

2 seasons means 2 remaining 8 episode batches of S1 of Make Your Mark? Or do they mean rest of S1 as S2 and we will also get the first batch of actual S2 in that same year?

It seems people are confused by the new upcoming eps. so I’ll try to make it simple here.
This is what Hasbro already finished producing for G5 so far right now.
For ‘Make Your Mark’ the number of eps. they have now is 23 eps. for Chapter 1 So the new chapters will probably add 46 more new chapters to the series since 2 more chapters for it are coming.
‘Make Your Mark’
Ch 1. - 23 eps.
Ch 2. - 23 eps.
Ch 3. - 23 eps.
Total eps. for ‘Make Your Mark’ series right now = 69 eps.
For ‘Tell Your Tale’ The number of short eps. that they have now is 70 ep. shorts with Season 1. Season 2 will add 45 more new ep. shorts to the series.
‘Tell Your Tale’
Season 1 - 70 ep. shorts
Season 2 - 45 ep. shorts
Total eps. for ‘Tell Your Tale’ series right now = 115 ep. shorts.
So ‘Make Your Mark’ has 69 eps. in the series right now and ‘Tell Your Tale’ has 115 ep. shorts in the series right now as of this comment because of the upcoming new eps.
Plus ‘Make Your Mark’ also has 2 Netflix Special movies coming out too adding 2 Special movies to its upcoming chapters as well.
So, did that clear everything up for you guys?

My guess here is that Winter Wishday won’t be called a “chapter” and instead will be marketed separately from MYM. The others may also be holiday specials, or one might be a finale for the current MYM arc. My guess is the two “seasons” will be called chapters 3 and 4.

It probably makes more sense to think of all the 3D content right now as one season, but released in multiple “chapters” as an alternative to weekly airings. I think at least all the 22 minute episodes are being produced as if they were one season.

At least 70 episodes of ‘Tell Your Tale’ were produced by Lil Critter Workshop.
That info was for Season 1 of ‘Tell Your Tale’ before.
Looks like Hasbro just ordered more eps. for ‘Tell Your Tale’ so I think the number of eps. for the ‘Tell Your Tale’ series now is 115 episodes and not 70 episodes as it originally was before.
‘Tell Your Tale’ has officially gone past ‘the 100th ep.’ mark now.
Even through ‘Tell Your Tale’ is a 5-mintue long YouTube series, it’s gaining on fim’s number of eps. Fim ended with 221 eps. ‘Tell Your Tale’ has half of that number of episodes now with 115 eps.
I can see the ‘Tell Your Tale’ haters going “Nooo! Not more ‘TYT’ eps., that series sucks!’
Sorry, guys. But they’re coming along with more new ‘Make Your Mark’ eps.
