Honestly, the most frustrating thing is how we see what Zipp does need to improve as a detective (being less intense off the bat when interrogating leads and suspects), but she’s led to believe it’s the investigative part she needs to improve because Pipp deliberately contaminates the evidence at the actual crime scene right after being warned not to do just that at the potential crime scene.

Pipp ruined the whole thing remember? If she hadn’t tripped over the lantern in the garden and planted fake evidence everywhere on top of the real evidence, then Zipp would’ve busted Misty for real and she came so close too.

So basically, Pipp was a idiot and ruined the whole thing with her ‘Detective Games’ for Zipp to do and because of Pipp’s ‘Detective Games’ Misty got away with the crime clean, this time.

Next time Misty might not be so lucky through as it’s very unlikely that Pipp will try something like that again.

In the end of the episode, Zipp said:“No more midnight trots with it then, Izzy?”.

So I think Zipp’s conclusion was: “Izzy took the lantern and forgot to put it back, then probably lied to her”.

That’s a little unfair actually because Izzy was innocent all the time. :|
