Well, see, Purplesmart’s intelligence is entirely an informed attribute. While, yes, she is seen doing typically ’smart person’ things, such as making chemical compounds and writing thesises, she either just doesn’t apply anything she apparently knows or outright doing something completely stupid. If she doesn’t understand something, she destroys it. If she discovers an overly specific way to destroy something, she just waits around until she gets to use it. And on top of that, she’s supposed to be the leader, but she always makes poor decisions, never takes into consideration that not everyone thinks the same way and actually harms her teammates more than anything. If anything, Bluespeedy is a better leader, and is easily a more likeable character.
