That said, I do not directly disapprove of Twilicorn. I’m waiting to see how they handle it before I pass judgement.

Call me silly, but I’m skeptical this is even from an upcoming episode. It’s a hot topic promo, why on earth would THEY have Season 4 footage, and more importantly, why would it already have the HUB’s watermark if there is still no air-date in sight?
 
Not believing it until I see it with my very eyes on the HUB.

I thought of something, notice how her wings are different than Dash’s. Maybe Dash can’t teach her to fly due to the differences in wings. Maybe Twi would have to learn how to fly from other alicorns who have the same wings.

The wings in those scenes are definitely glued on, but this fly fail scene looks very legit.

It looks like they animated her without wings and then just pasted them on

Twilight flying into the camera was a suitability dramatic finish for the s3 finale, but her having trouble with her new wings is too good an idea to pass up.
 
I just want them to offer SOME explanation for the inconsistency. They aren’t generally that good about stuff like that, though.

And now to wait for the inevitable flight training episode.

Not gonna whine about it, but it will irk me if they pull some kind of BS retcon, equating a new princess, that wasn’t born a pegasus pony, to that of a newborn foal pegasus, saying the new princess has spurts of “natural flying talent” like Pumpkin Cake did.

I have to admit, I’d love to see an episode or brief gag bit where Dashie tries to teach her how to fly better, and such.

i think the excitement and adrenaline caused her to take a huge leap and do more of a fancy glide then anything…
