And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

I think the reason these theories like Flurry Heart or Luster Dawn being Opaline are popular is because people don’t want to see them never used and it creates a fascinating continuity and makes us ask why.
I mean I guess it doesnt really matter but I would like to see either of these two not forgotten

I remember beginning to think this back in Chapter 1, but it was only because Opaline’s cutie mark wasn’t visible at the time and bad lighting made it impossible for me to figure out her true color palette aside from brightness.
Both MYM Chapter 2 and TYT have given a much better view of Opaline’s body, and it’s revealed there is no resemblance between the two at all. So this theory should already be dead.

I guess we’re worried characters like Luster or Flurry Heart will never have any story potential to them.
Having either of those minor characters be someone in G5 could give them story they never got, and show an interesting use of g4 lore that is more obscure.

But Luster is just a unicorn pony. Opaline is a fire pony.
Fire Pony isn’t a species, it’s just title, i think. Also this theory/headcanon is farfetched, because Luster has yellow eyes, while Opaline has blue and overall different color palette than her.

Why do people keep insisting that Opaline has to be a dark side/corrupted version of a character we saw in G4? Why can’t she just be her own character?
