In fact, my friend told me when she attended a “Harry Potter book premiere party” at a local large bookstore, (back when a new Harry Potter book was being released at midnight) two fangirls actually got into a major physical fight. (Apparently, beforehand they were arguing over which character Ron Weasley should be with.)
They both had to be kicked-out of the store.
