That word means "a loser", not a "dog". Maybe I *am* insane because nothing in my humour makes sense, except failures being distorted into a surreal quality.
In my fanon, Hitch went insane because he felt that everything is getting worse, or he is under the influence of a curse, destroying his mind. This could be due to him tampering with artifacts, along with poor Sprout for doing the same thing. Sunny also went mad because she was cursed by Twilight for worshipping her too excessively.
