There is such a tag, but it is not used for such things, because we all know there is that one guy who would go to every image that has no downvotes, and then downvote them.

@NaturalGlitch Now, now calm down. I’m not saying that “Twilight raising spike” is canon either. All I’m saying is, they may change his background a bit. Who knows, they may keep the original concept (in the ticket master twilight asks spike if he’s been to the gala, implying that she may have not been around his whole life, justifying the existence of Lauren’s concept)
 
And yes, Celestia’s a pony, but when he mentions pony family, he mostly means the mane 6. How doesn’t even ask Celestia about his origins, only twilight.
 
So don’t get so angry. I didn’t mean anything by it. All I meant was, keep an open mind. For all we know, the writers may change things around just for the fans, just like how they did Derpy. But they may also keep to their original ideas. You never know with them.

Celestia is also a pony, and Spike has meat and knows a ton of ponies even in Canterlot. He even knew that one fashion stallion. It’s like you people don’t even watch the show, and will grab for anything to justify a head-canon that has very little merit.

v @NaturalGlitch Lauren said it was a concept that was never officially added into the show yet. And thus, not canon. She even said that because she’s no longer working on the show, that they may change his backstory. And with the path that dragon quest took, she may be right. In the end of the episode, spike mentions the ponies being his family, and yet no mention of Celestia. So if he was raised by her, he would say she’s his family too. So this proves that they may change is
