“Gone” is the name of that episode. So what does she do in the second half?

Pinkie Pie wakes up to see that the Cakes are nowhere to be found. She decides to take on the responsibility of representing their characters until they return, are found, etc. She ends up dressing up as half the townsponies by the end of the episode. Turns out Pinkie Pie simply overlooked a note saying that they’d be out of town until the evening, and she’d have horrible timing with all the other ponies, missing them just as they’d left the room.
 
Remember that one episode of Spongebob, where everyone went to a No Spongebob Convention or whatever? Yeah, kinda like that.
