Oof, those dislikes. Honestly? I really dig this. Kind of an unpopular opinion, but I think Sprout would work just as well without a redemption as he would with one. After all, he makes one hell of an antagonist.

The song’s “I’m a good ol’ Rebel”.
It’s a southern post civil war song.
Got a few variants, but I prefer the ones from either the 2nd North Carolina String Band or Nunez, Nelson and McClung.
Both easy to find on YouTube.
