Guys I so funkin done with all those whiners who just cept using words “cliche” and “lazy writing” just to feel that they understand something in storytelling when they clearly don’t. Go into the real world and tell people who killing each other after millions of millions proves that this is bad, that they should stop because this is overusing of the same plot.

We had several like that. (Some jokingly call them “Spike Justice Warriors.”)
I remember one argued MLP:FIM is a “sexist” show for it’s “bad treatment of Spike.” (Ignoring bad or comical things happening to the female characters too.)

Yeah, I mean everybody is entitled to their opinions, but of course some take the hate over fictional characters too far, and can get too obsessive.

Probably, every character has a small hatedom it seems. I even see some whom hate characters like Derpy or Luna just for them being “too popular.”
I’m pretty sure not that many people hate him. It’s just there are a couple of Discord haters on this site.
It feels weird nearly half the fandom hates him now, sense Discord used to be so popular.
For only that time and the comic before this that’s apparently set after season 9. I don’t actually dislike him for once
I’m with you on this one.
I still think this can be solved peacefully. Discord’s not a monster, just oftentimes doesn’t know what he’s doing. He is chaos, after all.

The idea was that they were canon until said otherwise
And if i recall (and i could be wrong) they said the G4 comics were meant to be canon, but look how that turned out, same can happen here with G5

Even when the comics did entire series on villain backstories The show gave a completely different version of the dazzlings banishment
