I’ve read MLP fanfiction that was better written than that shit. People like to complain that Magical Mystery Cure is an example of bad writing (like CronoM, even though they don’t know what they’re talking about), but trust me when I say that MMC is way better written than ME3.
If you want to know why ME3 is bad, then look up smudboy, or if you just want to know why the ending thereof is bad, then look up MrBtongue
Also, did anyone laugh at the improved Synthesis ending when the Husks turned friendly?

I haven’t even played the Mass Effect games but it’s hard not to notice that one side is stating specific problems with the ending and their opposition is just using generic shit defenses like “professional writers” and “gamer entitlement” while never actually giving any reasons why the ending was a good thing.
But the best part about this comic is the implication that “professionals” are above these kinds of fan-pandering crossovers and yet they’ve now done exactly that with Dead Space 3.
They’re only ‘genetically similar’ in that both turians and quarians are levo.
Humans aren’t genetically similar to, say, krogan, but they’re both dextro.
I’s like they fucking needed an exposition fairy right in the end explaining EVERYTHING (and still leaving a ton of questions because why not).
Sigh…. and i still liked the Indoctrination theory the most (hell even after the “fix” only the red ending hints on Sheppy surviving).
I’m still more miffed about the cutting corners when they spent so much on advertising.
Why couldn’t she not be a stock photo and be more alieny! I mean they are genetically similar to Turians so… why not close to that appearance? Then there could be Shepard cringing, his innate romantic love and xenophilic lust fighting over his brain saying “But she looks WEIRD!”

It was also complete utter shite, executed as one long-ass boring cutscene with token gameplay, and a hilariously “this is so bad I can’t actually believe it” child explaining everything ending. If the whole point of your story depends on such lazy, in-your-face exposition, you are bad at storytelling.
And I never gave a single fuck about that dead kid, jesus.
And don’t get me started on all of the corporate brown nosing and consumer contempt from game reviewers on this.

Seriously people, they may be professional writers, but they’re still human, you don’t become an ethereal being incapable of doing wrong if you become a professional.
It had some good moments but that’s all they were. 2 or 3 moments.
