Actually, whether they were related or not wasn’t confirmed or denied, so they could be related. Regardless, the writers didn’t ship Big Mac with Marble Pie because they might be cousins, and as long as it’s possible they’re related, I don’t ship them.
In that very episode that you’re likely referring to for this “fact”, it was discovered at the end that they are in no way related.

your current filter.idk where you got that info. there was one episode where they might have found out their families were very very distantly related. But I don’t think theyre cousins.
