Well, she has 6 native heroines that have managed pretty good on their own for the moment, so i don’t see any need to bother her dimensional neighbours with that.
 
Fair enough. But if push comes to shove, she could always double up by bringing in their Equestria Girls counterparts and Sunset Shimmer.

I’m going to nominate a more old school hero: Commander Keen.
 
Saved the Earth, the Milky Way, his babysitter, and the universe from Mortimer McMire, and he’s the kind of Lighter And Softer hero who would fit in in Equestria.

Anyhow, I picked Optimus not just for his skill and power in combat, but also because he carries the Matrix of Leadership, and thus has an artifact of virtue, similar to those which have so often been used to defend Equestria before (the Elements of Harmony and the Crystal Heart come to mind), at his disposal, and can use it to light their darkest hour.
 
That he tends not to stay dead is a plus, too.
