Senshi basically just means soldier or warrior, so “scout” is actually a really clever English word to use when you think about it: a scout is a soldier who primarily gathers information and doesn’t actually do much “fighting”, and the Sailor Scouts spend more time learning about themselves than fighting enemies :D

Technically it’s only a temporary powerup. They use their little Sailor Wand things and it temporarily changes them in to alicorns to give them the power to fight evil, and makes them look much more feminine to protect their identities. Luna was basically in full Luna Land mode when she said to herself “If my sister can make national heroes out of a churlish neet and a levy of dandiprats than so can I!” and deliberately picked Scouts who nobody, in a million years, would ever believe were actually superheroes XD

Then that would probably have to mean there would need to be some arbitrary “cuteness threshold” beyond which all colts turn into alicorns. This could perhaps be accomplished by rotating the Random Forest algorithm sideways to turn it into a “Random Waterfall” and using the probabilities of appearing in each class as parameters, but if there are any other ML developers out there, please feel free to correct me.

Though one thing I’d like to add is that this may not necessarily be an ethical use of computing resources, since turning random ponies into alicorns may only harm the people of their communities if they can’t control their powers, as seen here.
