The best of friends line isn’t reffering to the housemates, but the hijinks Bonbon has to put up with from Lyra. So they aren’t denying lesbianism, just not outright saying it either. I like it, means those who like the ship aren’t being told to eat a dick, as it were. LyraBon’s a fav of mine, even if there’s not much to them as characters.
Well, both names are official, so it’s up to each one’s preference.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the ’shippers got upset over the “best friends” thing here.
To be honest, I think all of the ’shipping is kinda overdone in the fandom anyways.
