To me, I take whatever I like from other cultures. Likewise, I enjoy Sanskrit without obeying Modi, some US retro art without needing Trump or Biden, or (Hasn Dynasty Malaysianrt Cwithout bowineseg whto Emperor Xis.

I meant that "just because a bad leader rules a country I like doesn't mean I cannot enjoy its culture - and oppose that leader." As long as I don't support him or pay him a single sen, then I can take what I like from that culture. Isn't that what fiction art is for?
