Apparently it takes place before season 3, so that would explain rainbow’s ‘relapse’.
Its a meta fan episode. A love note to Faust, so I forgive the cross references.
The pacing was a little weird but I think the pacing was from Rainbow Dash’s point of view, not ours. So of course the start was slow.
I didn’t think the voice acting or characterization were terrible. Twilight was a little more terse then usual and Rainbow a little bit more “act first, think second” but neither were outside of their character range.
Overall, I liked it quite a bit.
Animation was the only decent thing about it.
Shit pacing, story, characterizations, voice acting, the whole core of the episode.
On top of that, REFERENCES & CROSSOVERS: THE EP + LE FUNNY MAY-MAYS!!!11
As stated before, it killed any semblance of immersion in utero.
Why.
Writing : Ugh,they definitely could have done better.
Pacing: Terrible…especially at the beginning.
It was entertaining,at least…
Credits were godly.
But the main problem is that Dash’s VA SUCKS.
