I don’t own a lot of knifes but I do like them. I find machetes and kukris to be the best fit for me

As for what’s there already, if I could pick two I’d pick Rarity the scimitar and Fluttershy the survival knife.

I like those kinds of blades. more practical than anything else.

I can also see rarity being a rapier. Applejack as Zweihander.

I adore swords, knifes, and cutting weapons in general. I have quite the collection. I have a single edged hand an a half blade that could take a persons head of with a wrist flick.

I think Fluttershy should be a machete, because it’s built for the for nature, and it’s not intended to be used as a weapon but it it will be extremely effective if it is be used as such.

Well, the real life one would be a Claymore, or the “great swords” which were pretty much sharped steel girders with a hilt.

Most of it does, it’s actually inefficient if stuck anywhere other then the “sweet spot” which is the thicker area of the blade toward the tip, but not quite at it. That part of the blade is wicked, imparts a lot of force on a small area. The tip is actually slightly lacking in a curved blade, same with the base near the hilt. It requires a lot of skill to be effective.

I prefer the ridiculously oversized sword that makes the ground shake on impact, but ok

I think I would go for Pinkie Pie, Rarity or Dash.  
Light weight and sharp.

she looks useless. no grip on the handle the back part of the blade is jagged but looks like it serves no propose and I doubt it has amy tang

If you’ve seen what the “sweet spot” of a curved blade like Rarity’s can do to a limb you’d think differently.

Fluttershy looks like the most dangerous.
