Even the fact they playing basket Was a bit forced. In the original they were able to convince to villains to give them a challenge to defend themselves and chose basketball because they were short In new legacy the vilain challenge professional basketball player to the game

Yeah and thats why Space Jam 1 is like 100 times better than sequel. Because it doesn’t try to lie and bullshit its audience with what it is or trying to be.
New Legacy is just a garbage cashgrab that doesn’t make sense. Heck, they are not even playing basketball just some fucked up video game teaching kids that cheating is good.

Space Jam 1 is harmless 90s cheese that is unashamed to be 90s cheese and have no other ambition than being 90s cheese and i’ll day on that hill. The sequel tried to recapture the proverbial lightning in the bottle but overdid it and lost itself in that self-awareness trap that is so common in the post-ironic era

Pony animation looks lame - but then again, so does this film.

At first I thought it was a joke, watched the trailer and watched this exact scene a few times..
And I’m confused, on the one hand I think it’s great that at least a few characters have kept a comic style.
But then why would you take such a bad version of G4… It looks like you ordered MLP G4 on Wish.

I mean, if you want to do one on 3D and GCI etc, then please do well, but not like that.
That just looks bad and I’m honest even SFM models look 5000 times better.
And you could also have taken the 2017 style….
I really hope they change their mind and take models that look better because it really looks like a cheap copy.

Is just my opinion on it.

You can actually see a little bit of Rarity’s leg and her mane between Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie (not Trixie).

Behind Epona and to the top-right is a purple ear (not a horn) that looks like it might be Starlight.

Based on what ive seen Rarity might be behind Fluttershy
In the back between Trixie and Fluttershy you can see a White body. Pretty sure thats Rares.
Also behind (Epona?) Is another purple horn so thats probably Glimmer

You know seeing this should make people appreciate how great the animation from the 2017 movie and the new Netflix film really are in comparison.
