The reason she’s a jerk is she’s a ponification of this:

Though, she’s not awful. In terms of “villainy”, all she really does is tackle ponies on the beach and then laugh as they’re pinned under her :P

As for her abilities, she more or less is a living inflatable pony that can inflate herself big and round and then hurl herself at things. If she pops or gets a hole she just deflates, but it’ll heal eventually since she’s alive – just, she’ll either be stuck a floppy rubbery pile or have to like put tape over it or something XD

Well if you do more with her I have a few ideas for this character
1: make her not a jerk, if there’s one thing I think could improve poink is to make her not a jerk. Why would a beach ball pony want to use her ability’s to be mean to people why she should be using them to play and have fun with ponies around her. Maybe have story where she reform’s and now helps others have fun. Don’t get me wrong I really love this character, I just feel like this would make her a much more fun and more interesting character
2:explorer what her abilities can a do, I feel like we haven’t seen the full extent of what she can do. Like what happens if she pops?
3:have her having fun with other ponies, I’d love to see her make friends with many others and having fun with them. Maybe have her let others play with her and use her like a beach ball and maybe after she tackles them for some innocent fun, as long as the pony being tackled is ok with it. Than after all that fun she gives them some big cuddles to show them some love and affection.

These are just some ideas I would love to see from you, I’d really love to see more of her, preferably as a character with a nicer personality. There just so much you could do that I feel like you’re missing out on with this character. I hope she reformers and becomes a lovely character with a caring and loving personality.👍
