She is a born dancer. Right before she was born her grandmother returned to her love of singing and joined an academy as a teacher. When Diamond reached the age her grandmother was one of the top teachers and one of the most important ponies there. When Diamond’s dreams are crushed when she realizes she can’t dance to pass the entrance exam, her grandmother Solar signs the entrance form and vouches that Diamond will be good enough. But at a cost, if Diamond doesn’t pass she will lose her place in the academy, as well as Solar losing her place for false information. With a little help from someone who had the same problem, Diamond may just find that no matter how well she does in the eye of a professional, as long as she is having fun, it’s better than any dance there.
