This is Sionnach, the wandering traveler.
(Pronounced Sha-Noch)
Once a great battle mage, Sionnach now travels Equestria trying to adapt to the every day advancing technology and strange new ways of the young ponies around him.

• His horn and parts of his tail are perpetually frozen. While at first inconvenient, he has long since grown accustomed to them as the ice preserves a dark curse that cracked his horn, and as an added bonus has kept him from aging and dying.
• He can No longer use magic, but mysterious things still happen around him
• There are rumors that Sionnach was seen at court a few nights before the Era of the Banished Moon, but it may just be rumor.
