You shouldn’t. The Illuminati as an organization was disbanded in 1785 or thereabout, and all they really were were a group of intellectuals that liked to sit around and discuss science, economics, and politics, particularly issues like the possibility of having democracies and republics instead of the absolute monarchies they lived under and maybe letting women get in on formal education too.
