Something I’ve noticed during this scene…

When Spike was singing, Rarity had a very familiar spark in her eyes. In fact, it’s the same spark Twilight had on that fateful day, when she realized the ponies she met embodied the Elements of Harmony, and were also her friends. Here, Rarity must have realized that Spike’s feelings were more than just a simple crush.
