I’m back at it again
I’ll reiterate I’m a terrible writer, but I’ve done my best. Chances are I’ll add more info in future doodles.
I like to think that Trixie, Starlight, and Sunburst are in a poly relationship together. Starlight isn’t used to receiving affection, so the other two like to team up on her to give cuddles >:3
Astral Flare and her brother Gliese Smoke are twins, and their rivalry has led to extensive property damage. Biologically, they’re Starlight and Trixie’s, but love all their parents equally of course. Here we see the two in their natural habitat, engaging in a magic duel while their sister tries to read.
Astral is the more outspoken of the two, taking every opportunity to show off her magical abilities. Her magic is flashy and explosive, leaving a trail of destruction wherever she goes. She doesn’t mean to blow things up. The incident with the spiral staircase was an accident! She just doesn’t think about the consequences of her actions. Ever.
“I don’t consider it arson, I consider it an impromptu fireworks display.”
Gliese is more quiet, cold, calculating. I have more planned for him, but for now I’ll say that he’s a whole PB and J (petty, bitter, and jealous).
“I don’t understand. Mother had a following. She just gave it all up? And for what? Friendship may be nice for companionship but what do you get out of it other than social interaction? Of course having a cult like that is unethical, but that power could have been used for good.”
“Dude, you freak me out when you talk like that. You’re not planning on world domination, are you?”
“No, taking over the entire world is unrealistic. I would start with a small town- hypothetically of course.”
“Dude, no.”
I’m also hopping on the “Luster Dawn is Starlight and Sunburst’s kid” bandwagon and I’m gonna ride it all the way to Oregon, yeehaw. She’s the exasperated middle-child who just wants a moment of peace and quiet. If her idiot siblings don’t stop fighting, she’s going to politely and respectfully throw them off a cliff. She loves them, and even looks up to them, though she’d never admit it. She can always go to Astral for advice without fear of being judged. Definitely an “I’ll help you hide the bodies” relationship.
“Could you two try to kill each other somewhere else? I’m trying to read.”
Carina is the youngest, and very small. Trixie and Sunburst are her biological parents. She’s sweet, but also a little smug when she feels like it. She knows other ponies can’t lay a hoof on her, or her older siblings would blast them off the face of the Earth. She has no cutie mark as of yet, and is still experimenting with different areas of interest. Her first attempt was at astronomy. She was named after a constellation, so that would make sense, right? She and her siblings are now banned from the observatory after The Incident.
“I’m taking a methodical approach to this. Regardless of the results, the effort yields its own rewards. Look! They put our pictures on the front door!”
“Yeah… that’s a sign saying we’re not allowed back inside.”
“Ah. That makes sense. Oops.”
Also if you want to see nextgens of specific characters, let me know :0
