Actually Rarity’s weather suckage is somewhat like that but she’s unfortunately the only one. (Her fashionista side kept making her make designs out of the clouds over populated areas)  
Pinkie could be kicking too hard and knocking the trees over, or bouncing off them, and Applejack could make utilitarian looking stuff. Well she did, but also was portrayed as being ‘all thumbs’ to use a phrase, when all that lassoin’ should have made her nimble and agile with threads and cloth. Everyone orders frou frou dresses but gets those silly looking ‘overall pleats’ with millions of pockets.

Would’ve been interesting if one of them had been decent at another pony’s job. I could picture Applejack knowing how to make a dress, if not one as froufrou as Rarity’s – unfortunately, dresses appear to be almost exclusively froufrou in Equestria.
 
Pinkie, on the other hand, you would think would know farm chores.
 
The fact that Rarity could handle clouds with her horn, pegasus-style, is kind of interesting, and I’ve pictured her afterwards trying to remember the feeling, just to have a new kind of magic other unicorns don’t have.
 
Fluttershy as a comedian and RD as a pet shop owner, though? Not a chance.

With the exception of the patches, that dress did look nice.

Shut up Rainbow Dash, I think it looks pretty nice.
