And… it’s really strange, interesting and WTF the subtext of the knights and the past… They’re the repressentation of the american interventionism during Cold War.

Expanding their kingdom in different earths in name of friendship meanwhile they tries to fight aganist Discord because they learned since kids disharmony is bad, and with the allies of Discord instead of trying to convince them Discord is playing with them, they hide the elements of harmony, making the other kingdoms misserable.

And the thing is even clear when you see everbody from the knights are creatures from different mythologies but with european names, just like USA is a multicultural country with european roots, something that is impossible to relate them with nazism, the most popular enemy concept which are nationalists.
