It could very well have been Roald Dahl’s attempt at putting something naughty in a children’s book. However, I like to interpret it in the way it was presented in the movie: a sarcastic remark with the message of “stop asking questions and try something for yourself.”

I remember reading something that said snozberry was a euphemism for naughty bits or some type of thing like that.
