The Equal Temple was an egalitarian cult led by Starlight Glimmer, who claimed that Nightmare Moon appeared to her, and told her to continue the legacy of the Lunar Republic. Starlight took a majority of her followers, including one of her internal followers and second lead Double Diamond, to a place she built known as Our Town, promising a land where peace and equality would thrive upon. Starlight Glimmer in the mean time, came up with the back up plan, operation white flight, which was a plain to force everyone to kill themselves and each other if something goes wrong, and if anyone found out her secret. This however backfired as soon as the mane 6 helped every pony get their cutie marks back.
