The official status of the comics are “canon until the show invalidates them”, and even if they weren’t canon my point will still stand.
It just annoys me to read things like “he’s always been more like Fluttershy’s pet”, when Fluttercord is, in my opinion, one the most greatest and sincere friendship on the show.
But whatever, this is not the place for discussing things like this, so I’m done here…

I am just playing around indeed. I mostly made those comments in a more joking manner, and I don’t hate him. It’s just really hard for me to like him. Okay, maybe that equals hating him but what, I can’t have an opinion? I respect everyone who’s a fan of Discord but I don’t get why people are so defensive and serious toward him, to the point that even joking about him and Fluttershy’s relationship gets people work up. I don’t even care if people ship them. If you guys like Discord so much, wouldn’t you like joking about so much too? Because that’s what he does. He plays pranks and makes chaos, or is it really funnier when it happens to someone else?
Okay fine, for the Discord fans that are tired of my constant anti-Discord antics, from now on I’ll try my best to refrain from criticizing Discord too much. I know I’m annoying when I do that. But please don’t act so angry when I only make jokes about him.

I don’t know if you are trolling or not, but I feel like you’re just indirectly insulting Discord fans and the character itself at this point.
In fact, you know what, I don’t even think you care about Fluttershy’s character development, where instead of cleaning Discord’s shit, she can taught him of cleaning his own mess, but hey “she’s cute and shy so she must be waifu material” right?
Also their relationship is so such more than that (romantic or not) and you can actually see it developing through the entire season 10 comic, but I guess you’re just filled with hatred for a character to actually see it…

Aww but I’m sure Discord would love to be a pet. And That’s not too farfetched. Fluttershy has to keep him from misbehaving and clean up his mess. That’s what you do for a pet, right? :P
