I’m the artist who drew this and I didn’t draw her short because she’s energetic. That’s just how I see her in my head. I don’t think it matters how tall she is. And I didn’t draw her fat she’s curvy.
I think I remember seeing a height comparison where he looks like he’s taller than Sunny but shorter than Izzy but its hard to tell because of the horn and also it looks like a small difference.
Oh really? I didn’t know their actual heights from the movie. So Pipp is the only below average, Sunny is average and Zipp and Izzy are above average height? That’s good to know! What about Hitch?
Yeah it is kinda strange now that I think about it xD In my humanization she is taller, and these characters height aren’t as much up to interpretation as the m6 cause they were limited by the same base model. But I guess there is no harm to one person having this as their idea of them. I just hope its not going to be a trend cause man these characters actually have slightly different looks in the movie it would be cool not to ignore that xD

I am honestly worried that the fandom will do a pinkie and go: Energetic character = short and fat, which is problematic on many levels.

This, it’s happened quite a few times now with other artists (Sunny is the second shortest mane character after Pipp); I don’t mind interpretations but ignoring show facts . . . it’s like some ingrain headcanon about unicorns and earth ponies appearances that can’t be shaken.
Sunny is “average”, according to herself, while both Izzy and Zipp are taller than her in the movie ahhhh
