I agree 100% and my relationship is like that with Princess Twilight. ❤️
Lets just agree.. that the Mane 6 were so amazing, and they helped me so much for my mentality, especially my love/waifu Rainbow Dash. I bring my giant RD plush with me to bed, and near my PC when im awake. I hug her alot, especially sometimes if I am going through a hard time and/or crying. I tend to sometimes hug her when crying, and cry on one of her hoofs.
Rainbow Dash lives. (My opinion/hope.)
Where’s the evidence that it was Grogar? I bet it was Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow. And I personally don’t think Twilight will ever want to retire, at least not until G5 is over.
Like Celestia, Twilight wants to retire in favor of younger ones, and Sunny is obviously meant to be the next alicorn princess, although it is uncertain whether she will have power or just be a helper for her ponies and the rest of the world. Twilight will gladly give up her alicornhood when she could feel confident that the ponies would be in safe hooves, and that she could join her friends forever.
At the moment there are powerful forces going on, which we discovered in the movie - something made the magic disappear, the crystals were there as an emergency solution that is also meant to choose the next alicorn, the whole valley seemed to have been completely wiped out from what is shown on the movie - and the many hints in Argyle`s lighthouse can mean that Twilight and Grogar are facing each other. Twilight could not stop Grogar, and had to hide in her prayers for hope.
I do not think we will see Twilight often; she may appear in the final season of G5. Many years from now.
She’s already with her friends. They’ll live with her forever in her heart. Or maybe they’re still alive. Hopefully she gets to live for all eternity. I don’t know if there’s a Pony Heaven, but even if there is, Twilight has to keep spreading friendship in Equestria.
A goddess who just wants to be with her friends forever; When her plan succeeds and the Ponykind - the whole world - and her legacy - is safe forever from the worst of the worst, she will disappear forever.

Please, God, let it be real and bring back Twilight soon!!!! I will take back all the hate I gave for G5 if it turns out that Twilight was always there, just working in the background, like the ascended Goddess that she is!!!!! Time for a incarnate return ASAP, though!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
1); the glass window in the station hall has her cutie mark. There is strong evidence that she got the three crystals made.
2); the three crystals are not activated even when they are put together, which means that a special spell that only an expert of the same capacity as Twilight - the element of Magic - could make, was in these. It was after Sunny united the three leaders and came up with the proclamation of friendship these are activated.
3); This feather can be seen in the lighthouse - the size of this suggests that it came from Twilight 2.0, not a pegasus. And Argyle will not have body parts unless this is of great importance. It is possible that it was given voluntarily to Argyle who is encouraged to raise Sunny, but it is possible that the promise he gave his daughter when we last saw him may have led him to an early death, Twilight could not stop this.
I do not think Twilight knows what is hidden in the lighthouse, they may have met by chance at the time when Sunny was born. Maybe she would have taken Grogar’s bell right away.
Celestia knew what would come in addition to the return of her sister, and had therefore looked for the bearer of the element of Magic among the many young foals who came to her unicorn school. Sunset was first chosen, but we knew this story. She had a plan, and she knew what Equestria needed, despite all the power she possessed, she had become dependent on her plan. Twilight is in the same situation, but had to hide in the meantime.
She could not return the magic to the Ponykind if she had wanted to, but she had no choice. The future of Equestria, perhaps the whole world, was to be saved. Sunny thus had to find and activate the crystals as the element of Hope. She probably had to wait at least a hundred moons before the magic returned.
As with Celestia, Twilight had come across something that exceeded her ability, and needed the help of others. Now the student knows how the teacher felt when the adventures in the G4 took place. Now she is waiting for Sunny to grow up as an alicorn.
Is there evidence for her making the crystals and this all being your plan? Also, where’s the feather you mentioned? Is there a screencap of it? Was it a purple feather?!?!?! 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
If Twilight becomes the G5s answer to Celestia, we will not see her that often; it will be in her interest to hide until she can be sure that her plan will succeed.
We know she got the three crystals made, and since we saw an intact feather at Argyle’s home, it is possible that she had been in contact with Sunny`s father. Like Celestia, she may have foreseen how the future might be (may be; a little vague, according to Celestia) and may have noticed Sunny already when she was just a foal. Her plan is probably that she needs an item. Celestia also had a plan where she looked for the bearer of the element of Magic, and eventually found Twilight Sparkle. Here, she needs the element of Hope. And I think she could not operate freely because it could invite disaster if there are powerful enemies on the lookout for her. If there was an enemy that destroyed the valley where only the harmony tree survived at the expense of its own magic, and Twilight could not stop this enemy, then it meant that she puts all hope on the new alicorn.
Twilight can retire for good at the end of the G5 and join her friends forever, if her plan succeeds. A plan that can draw her dead friends into one last adventure.
I do not think Twilight will intervene, as her teacher she will stay away, observe from a distance and see if the element of Hope will fulfill all her prayers on behalf of the Ponykind`s future, so we will only see her very few times. Until the end when Sunny becomes a permanent alicorn. Then Twilight will complete the very old desire to be like Celestia, when she was just a foal. She and Grogar will probably not be seen in the G5 while the G5 characters develop, until the end, when Sunny gets 100% alicornhood.
It may be necessary, because if all the hints from the movie suggest that Grogar will come to Equus, it’s not enough with just Sunny and the Mane 5 as well as all their friends and allies. All heroes and heroines from all generations of MLP can be drawn into the final showdown. But in the meantime, the dead heroines will be able to rest in the hereafter as part of the background for the Ponykind.
Twilight still has to face Sunny, and besides, we do not know what happened that leveled the whole valley, but it is possible that she had a role in the tragedy that threw Equestria out in dark times. She had undoubtedly sensed the ascension, but also knows that others - including the enemy of the Ponykind, do so as well. It will be in her interest to stay in the background and observe if the Mane 5 will be up to the mission that awaits them.
It’s being “moons and moons ago” canonically. Them being dead is not neccesarly a bad thing (as far as the plot is concerned) because it means they can focus on the G5 characters instead of using G4 as a crutch. I know it sound cruel on paper wishing the death of those characters (and IMO, they might have died of old age) but their character arcs were done. I don’t say they are not entitled for a flashback but methinks they should save said hypothetical cameos for great occasion
And Twilight oughta be buried too or else we’re going to have a lot of drama yet again about “immortality blues” bullshit
