im glad you tink that, it took me a few good days to came up with the overall idea for Crimson Star, the week i created him i was most of my time at work tinking what to do with him…should i add this or that or change what…in the end im glad how he ended looking…altought at first he didnt had his dragon tail, it had a regular pony tail…and it kinda looked weird…so i just went with the flow and added the tail, the elbow spikes and a few other details. Im still working on him…there are things im not satisfied yet…i feel i can improve his face a bit more…and im having a LOT of trouble drawing him front face…i just cant come up with a decent design for his mane…or i simply dont like how it looks…so for that so far i have only draw him on side or 3/4 vew =P

Wow, most people who try to draw Dragon/Pony hybrids end up looking horrible. You manage to pull it off beautifully.

thats exactly what i meen, i have an OC named Crimson Star, its a half dragon/pegasus, originally i used only the pony creator giving him bat wings and horns, that was all about it, but then i found a nice image i liked (the pose) so i tought “ what the heck lets give it a shoot”…as its stands now the pony creator did helped me, i chose colors and stuff but in the end i tried to make him as original as posible.

I’m no artist. But, if I was, I would use the Pony Creator to “brainstorm” ideas before I draw.

the pony creator its not the problem itself, i use it generally to make a sort of “sketch” for new things, mostly for colors and stuff like that…the problem its when people simply make them on the creator and tink thats the end…they should try and use it just as template to start something more original

There is nothing wrong with alicorn ocs if they’re drawn properly and not just put together in the pony creator.

His appearance does not make me want to gouge my eyes out. So it’s a plus I guess.

This is how you do an alicorn oc.

Apparently his name’s Prince Novalis. Not sure what that means, but at least he has a name.

Still curious as to their place in the Cosmology.
