I will always love these DebMervin cartoons. She does a fantastic job emulating the style of Charles Shultz, who is my all-time favorite cartoonist. Considering the number of peculiar situations Snoopy gets himself into in the Peanuts comics, I think this scene is rather fitting (though I think Charlie Brown’s kite would get stuck on Izzy’s horn before Snoopy let his tennis ball get caught on it. After all, Charlie Brown’s kite alway seems to have a mind of its own, and end up in very strange locations).
