The internet needs to collectively analyze artwork of artists who say do not repost, because many appear to have similar art styles and personality types.

Trust me you just have to accept it as part of the trade. Try to spin it into a positive instead of looking at it as a negative.

My art gets shared in the worst websites ever, but accepting it and assuming Internet just works this way saves a lot of headaches lmao
 
And the unsollicited edits too, as long as it’s not plain art theft… It implies people really liked the art, and maybe hacked it a bit to better fit their tastes, it’s spontaneous collaborative work

No it is not childish to want to be the only one to post your work, but it IS childish to post something like this in response.

I’m well aware that posting this won’t stop people from “sharing” my art to other sites. But hey, I’m allowed to speak my mind, and in the moment, I was (still am) extremely annoyed and angry about people posting my art on other sites, because of the fact I didn’t agree to it. I’m adding “Do not post my art without permission” to my accounts, so that’ll in the best case scenario stop this shit from happening. Thanks for all the lovely comments <3

Having your work re-posted to places like E621 or Rule 34 is not art theft unless un-sourced and altered.
 
Try contacting site administration if you want to be placed on a DNP list. Things like this will only encourage people to screw with you.
