I don’t blame you
Fluttershy is beautiful, and the diaper makes it better.
What a fucken nostalgia trip.
Boy, for a fetish you hate, you sure spend a lot of time on it.
I know right? I’d filter them, but then I couldn’t downvote the exceptionally awful ones and might miss out on my relevant interests if there was some of both involved.
.
About your confusion of the soiled side of this fetish, it’s rather hard to explain… I mean, I’m not into scat. I’m not into urine. But the use of diapers is still somehow tied into this fetish for some people. It’s mainly just the warmth and moisture in such an intimate area is what I assume the sexual aspect is. I know I love that feeling, embarrassing enough to say…
I can appreciate how that relates to fetishes.
Additionally, Freud’s constant strive in making such dramatic corollaries promotes open-mindedness, a trait that’s necessary for the advancement of psychology/psychiatry as a whole (especially when one considers how minuscule our collective knowledge is regarding these fields).
I never said he was correct, just that he was indeed on to a few things. Even his more inane theories can lead to places, if one is willing to think outside the box. As for fetishes, he didn’t really explain anything about them, but his method of examining seemingly unrelated corollaries and finding a way to equating them (i.e. Vagina Cave) is a pretty good way of explaining fetishes, at least on a surface level. Like I pointed out above, the diaper fetish can be a sign that the person has a scat fetish, or is into infantilism, or is merely using the diaper as a fetish object.
I just have a broad understanding of Erikson’s and Freud’s theories (and I’m not sure what Freud said regarding specific fetishes). I can understand Erikson’s psychosocial development concept to an extent, but Freud’s connections are too loose for me to give them much merit (“Oh so you had a dream of walking in a cave? Obviously this signifies your desire to retreat back into your mother’s vagina”).
He was, more so then most people give him credit for. However, I tend to favor Erikson’s veiws more when it comes to the stages of dev stuff, however, so if you are referring to the “anal” stage, then no I’m not in Freud’s camp. However, he has shed some insight into the world of fetishes that one shouldn’t overlook.
I know I know
Not everyone in inflation likes having pool handles either
Jesus you make it sound like Freud was on to something :P
I just covered that, look up a few comments.
Just because it’s not mainstream doesn’t mean it’s not an aspect to someone in the fetish. I’ve observed cross-over, and enough of it to link the two.
Not everyone in inflationism for example likes WG, or popping, or slob art, but they are still aspects of it.
I… sort of get it now. I still don’t get why they are sometimes soiled diapers, perhaps that’s more in the realm of that scat/fart/urine fetish (which I never truly understood either… but maybe that should be left unexplained).
Honestly, I haven’t met anyone who considered scat with diapers as something they liked.
Messy diapers can be ok with some people, but it can’t be visible or talked about in detail.
As someone I saw on fchan once years ago say
“It’s something already thick and soft and squishy, which can only become more big and soft and squishy.”
im more into the object itself and the roleplay aspect
This, hah, this is childs play compared to some others.
This can be broken down by several facets. First you have the obvious infantilism aspect, which could be taken with its dom/sub classification or it’s more traditional “idolization” aspect.
Next you have scat fetish aspects.
After that you have the fetish object itself, the diaper.
Finally, you have, as Arch pointed out, a cross-dressing/ role-playing aspect which links back into the infantilism.
Wearing something you wouldn’t normally wear because it’s kind of against a social norm and puts you in an embarrassing situation and is kinky to anyone else who enjoys it?
I honestly don’t see the connection.
Think crossdressing but different
Pretty much the same
