I’m leaning torwards the latter. The Shrek is Drek is funny but completly ooc for Shrek.

“Brogres?” Seriously? Throwing “BRO” in front of a word isn’t a clever way to name a fandom over and over. For Bronies it worked (as did pegasister) but just look at Whovians, Browncoats, Supernaturalists, Sherlokian/Holmesian, Trekkies/Trekkers. THOSE fandom nicknames work because actual effort goes into the name and they aint just copying the naming conventions of another fandom
 
Besides, Shrek is overrated, Kung Fu Panda is where it is at.

So wait, if bronies make a conscious effort to spread love and tolerance, does this mean brogres (more likely the correct spelling) make a conscious effort to remain unwashed, foul-smelling, bad-mannered and in a permanent state of mild irritation?
