What Genette says and the title should give a good indication of what motivated me to do this. Also, if my songbird griffon starts to invoke her inner ‘Dolly’, its best to run.
Artist’s Tidbit: So I decided to showcase Genette again with her showing her patriotism to the Union Jack aka the British flag, again me favoring her speaking with a British accent that is equivalent to how those from Trottingham speak…and as mention in a previous pic I did of Ginny I am clueless as to know what the Trottingham flag looks like so the Union Jack is a good substitute. Another reason for the British flag is that I’m a sports fan & there is (at the time of me typing this) a slew of sporting events that are taking place in England, from the likes of tennis to football (or soccer as we call it here in the US of A) and from golf to an auto race festival with a famed race taking place in the country soon, so the Brits are pretty busy with that stuff.
Trying to get the flag right was a bit of a challenge since my first attempt was on my previous pic. While I did use a reference from the start, I made a critical error in the flag’s pattern that seemed I wasn’t getting right. For this attempt I did try to draw out the pattern but as I so often do with my sketchworks I make my pics ‘too big’. Still, the experience paid off and I have no complaints about it.
