I don’t have anything against the character, like probably even “dislike” is too strong, but there’s like not a single funny joke or good gag involving her in that movie (and I haven’t seen the new once since I’m just not a fan of new Looney Tunes). Like, they couldn’t drop one anvil on her and it flattens her and the bad guys make a “LOW-la” joke , or have like a stick of dynamite go off in her hand and smoke clears and now she looks sunburned and is in beachwear, or she gets hit in the face so hard by the ball that her hair falls off and then she’s like “Relax I got a spare” and plucks her tail off and sticks to her head. Like, I didn’t come up with good jokes but it’s better than not even trying XD

As @Badumsquish mentioned, side-saddle ever has been a “art” to pull off that really was more for the imagined than the real. Both for the rider and the horse. Or … in this case … broomstick.
 
To be honest though, have you ever tried to sit “astride” what is basically a trapeze? Side-saddle is DEFINITELY preferable ^__^
