Even the not as good as the rest episodes are still Bronze metals. And even episodes someone dislikes will sometimes admit “Oh but that one part was kinda funny. Or neat.”
While I agree that Season 1 & 2 are better, I wouldn’t call S3 an “abomination.” The episodes overall weren’t bad, (I even enjoyed the controversial “Spike At Your Service,” and “Magical Mystery Cure” episodes.) in fact, honestly I don’t hate any episode of the series. (And I can’t say that about most TV shows nowadays.)
Also, S3 had some highlights regardless. Scootaloo finally got her own episode, we had a decent 2-parter adventure, we’ve had subtle character development for Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight, and even Fluttershy seemed more “assertive” then she was in S1 & S2.
Plus how could anyone hate the Discord & Trixie episodes? (I guess I’m a sucker for old characters returning.) Overall, the style for S3 didn’t feel to different then the previous 2 seasons.
The only “bad” things were the lack of Derpy cameos, (luckily they brought her back, so no harm done) and Rarity was the only main character without an episode.

The problem is that he’s acting like someone who thought season 3 was total crap through and through, not a “7.5/10” kind of opinion.
“What you implying people can’t have different opinions?”
No, but that doesn’t mean I can’t express my own opinion that I really really disagree with CR’s ways of saying this, and am sad to see one of the few TWTG bronies be like some of the BP here who post season 3 drama.
I personally agree with CR. I’m not saying it was so bad that shit hit the fan, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. True it had only 13 episodes, but I still felt it didn’t stand out. Out of all 3 seasons it is my least favorite… even though it was still good enough that I would give it a 7.5/10.
Like, as much as I find it really really really creepy, they deleted a page on Kodomo no Jikan despite it actually being an ongoing Not Porn series.
And all that glowingly positive stuff for Drowtales? Shudders I pity that comic. The artist and writer are seperate people and while the artist is great the writer is… Mary Sue Factory.
