Canon Ship Adopts [closed]
I became suddenly possessed of the notion that I needed to make some canon shipping adopts. But it should be noted that I did not pick these ships. I actually just took the characters I had in mind, assigned them numbers, and used a randon sequence generator to determine the pairings. I think they came out really well! ;w; These guys all come with a fair bit of flavor text, but of course it is not at all necessary to keep any of it! It’s merely what I thought of as I designed them, you’re welcome to keep or discard as much of what I’ve written as you like~

If you win the design, you can do literally whatever you want with it. Change the markings, gender, torture them, make a totally different species, i seriously dgaf
If you win, the one thing you’re not allowed to do with the design is claim you designed it. please always credit me.
Finally, you are absolutely not allowed to edit my artwork. thought this was common knowledge but I have been proven wrong. If requested I will provide the original file, but I will not remove the watermark. The file I give you is strictly for your personal reference, nothing else.

o1. Golden Apple - The son of Twilight and Applejack, Golden is fairly confident in himself. He is a hard worker, devoted, and incredibly inventive. He has a fixation with efficiency, and is constantly inventing new methods and machines to make farm work faster, better, and easier. He’s a little lanky for an Apple stallion, but he’s well aware that he’s a good looking guy. Despite this, and his overall confidence, he doesn’t have much luck romantically. It seems he’d rather tinker and work than pay attention to those who dote on him. In some ways, he’s much like his mother, Twilight, before she met her friends in Ponyville. He’s good friends with Uproar, and she always tries out all of her jokes on him. However, he can’t stand the Dash twins.

o2. Princess Eclipse - Eclipse was… a surprise. To most everyone except Celestia herself. No one in the kingdom was aware that the princess had been seeing Discord. But when Celestia foaled the little ivory-gold draconequus, she acted like it was all completely normal, and so everyone just sort of… went along with it. Despite his initial shock, Discord is a very present father, and very doting on his little princess. His visits are always rather random, and there’s no telling when he’s going to come see her, but shes never worried. Eclipse is a very bright, thoughtful princess, with a keen aptitude for magic. She is insatiably curious, and wants to try everything at least once. While she is mischievous, and loves pranks, she doesn’t like upsetting ponies, so her jokes are always fun and harmless. She is best friends with her cousin, Princess Starlight. But it annoys her that she can’t seem to get Solar Flares attention.

o3. Uproar - As the daughter of an extreme extrovert and an extreme introvert, Uproars life was a constant hot and cold. As a little filly, she was incredibly anxious, and often his beneath her mothers legs. But as she got a little older, she discovered she had a real knack for wordplay, puns, and telling jokes, and it helped her to loosen up and feel more comfortable. She came out of her shell, eventually getting confident enough to perform on stage. She’s a rather short pony, even as an adult (her set contains a plethora of short jokes) and these days comedy is her full time gig. She’s still anxious, but copes well with it. Her best friend is Golden Apple, and she tries her best to pry him away from his work and get him out once in a while. She also loves to heckle the Dash twins. They get all riled up, but it’s all in good fun between them.

o4. Crash & Smash - The Dash twins are wild, musclebound, jocks, and absolute troublemakers. They’re constantly egging one another on, often oblivious to the mayhem and destruction they cause all around them with their roughhousing. With their fathers size and musculature, and approaching their mothers speed, they’re giant wrecking balls. They’re best friends, but constantly argue and bicker, very frequently breaking into fights over the smallest slights. They especially love to fight over who Princess Eclipse likes more. Fun fact: She doesn’t even know these two knuckleheads exist.

o5. Princess Starlight - Starlight is a very quiet girl, every bit the composed and proper lady, and gladly so. She’s passionate about fashion, although her style tends to be a little eccentric, and she’s self-conscious about it. She’s rather shy, and dislikes the expectations put upon her simply by being born a princess. She has difficulty relating to her mother Rarity, who seems to exude confidence. She would just as soon stay home and avoid other ponies all together. But Luna has done a good job of encouraging her to get out, particularly nudging her to spend time with her cousin, Eclipse, who ended up becoming her best friend. She is aware that Solar Flare likes her, but isn’t at all interested in him. She’s much more fascinated by the comedian, Uproar.

o6. Solar Flare - Solar Flare is a traveling showpony, like his mother Trixie. But unlike his parents, his greatest skill isn’t his magic - it’s more his showmanship. He uses magic to aid his shows, but mostly he’s a drama pony. He puts on little one man plays and comedy acts, spiced up with magical effects. He can do most anything! He can sing, he can dance, do puppet shows, riddle and fiddle. He loves the freedom of the open road. He often ends up coming back to Canterlot, however, to try and serenade the mysterious, reclusive Princess Starlight. He’s so busy looking at her that he doesn’t even notice the gold Draconequus eyeing him every time he’s in town (much to her frustration).
