“And that’s how we were responsible for the perfect proposal!” Apple Bloom said, then she added with a laugh, “Or, should I say, “pear-posal”.”
 
“If we hadn’t messed up so bad…” Sweetie Belle added.
 
“…it wouldn’t have worked out the way it did!” Scootaloo finished.
 
“Plans can always go wrong,” Caitlyn stated.
 
“Especially if you’re trying too hard to make things perfect,” Buffy said, sheepishly. Her hair was in a bun and she was wearing a sand white dress.
 
“But that doesn’t mean things won’t work out in the end,” Angel put in.
 
“It’s just like baking,” Mrs Cake chimed in. “Sometimes, it’s the mistakes that help you discover something truly special.”
 
“Like Master Splinter would say, “Failure is one of greatest teachers”,” Leo stated, and his brothers nodded.
 
Spike, now wearing a tux, spoke, “And when all the planning and grand gestures go wrong, it reminds you the most romantic things are usually the simplest.”
 
“Which is what I knew all along,” Discord said. “You’re welcome.” Like the Turtles, he was also wearing a bowtie.
 
The pony they had been talking to was non other than Applejack. The farm mare wiped a tear from her eye then they all walked over to take their places at the ceremony.
 
It was Big Mac and Sugar Belle’s wedding day and it was held at the Apple Pear tree. Sugar Belle’s friends, Double Diamond, Party Favor, and Night Glider were there and were very happy for her. Granny Smith and Grand Pear were also there, along with Goldie Delicious, Apple Rose, Grate Auntie Applesauce, and Brunt Oak.
 
Also there was the Peach Family, including Bailey and Rosey and their song Lit’ Mikey. The Turtles friends were there too and so was Twilight and Starlight.
 
Spike, Discord, and the Turtles were Big Mac’s groom’s men and Angel, Buffy, and Caitlyn were Sugar Belle’s bride’s maids. The Crusaders were the flower girls and Applejack was the maid of honor.
 
Everyone watched as Big Mac, wearing a brown suit and hat, and Sugar Belle, wearing a white dress, walked up and stood before Mayor Mare, who was officiating the wedding, as she spoke.
 
“It is my sincere pleasure to say, for my second Apple family wedding, that I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!”
 
Big Mac and Sugar Belle kissed as everyone cheered.
 
Then Discord called up in the tree. “That’s your cue!”
 
All the apple gremlins dropped out of the tree, hanging by strings, and sang, “Happy marriage, happy Apples! Happy marriage…” Some where playing kazzos.
 
“Yeah!” Mikey called, pointing, then turned to his brothers. “I told you kazoos would have worked!”
 
“Discord!” Spike chitted.
 
“Oh, just let me have this one!” Discord said, as they all watch led the apple gremlins sing.
 
Angel turned to Leo and Twilight with a teasing grinn. “Maybe your proposal and wedding will be like this?”
 
Leo coughed as Twilight said, “Let’s not get carried away.”
 
But secretly, the two fantasized about it.
