A pony OC from 4chan. Someone started a thread called “name my pony and make her cutie mark”, and everyone started making joke suggestions.
 
The end result was a creepy stepford smiler pony with a fondness for knives, a cutie mark of Nicholas Cage, the special talent of being mediocre, and a desperate desire to actually be a character on the show.
 
She was a popular meme on /mlp/ for a while, though she’s been seen a lot less often lately.

It’s a mystery.  
A couple days ago on 4chan, someone posted the screenshot of Lesson Zero with the alicorn filly highlighted in the background, asking what her name was.
 
A bunch of suggestions later, “Princess Animatia Erroria” became popular.
 
Fanart happened.
 
Then a bunch of anons started pointing out how stupid/slow everyone in the thread was for being excited about an animation error everyone else had noticed two years ago.
 
Fanart of her riding a slowpoke happened.
 
And that’s about where we are now. As happened with Tracy and Milky Way, a lot of anons seem to be jumping on the bandwagon.

Appearing in the show makes you like a god-tier OC.

So why did she suddenly get popular?
